Baby Elijah | A Dreamy Newborn Photography Session in Point Cook
There is something incredibly special about photographing a family's very first baby, and little Elijah's newborn session was one I'll remember for a long time.
From the moment his parents arrived at my Point Cook studio, you could feel the excitement, love, and pride that comes with welcoming your first baby into the world. As new parents, they were soaking up every tiny detail his little fingers, perfect eyelashes, and sleepy cuddles.
And Elijah? He was an absolute dream.
He slept peacefully throughout almost his entire newborn photography session, allowing us to create a beautiful collection of soft, timeless portraits. His calm nature meant we were able to gently move through a variety of poses while keeping him comfortable and safe, creating those gorgeous sleepy images every parent loves.
One of my favourite parts of every newborn session is capturing Mum and Dad with their baby. These photographs become so much more meaningful as the years pass. While babies change in the blink of an eye, family portraits preserve the love and connection from those very first weeks together.
As first time parents, Elijah's mum and dad were naturally a little nervous before the session, but they quickly relaxed while I took care of everything. My newborn sessions are always baby led, allowing plenty of time for cuddles, feeds, and settling if needed. The goal is for everyone to enjoy the experience while creating beautiful memories that will last a lifetime.
